above guidelines, learned counsel appearing for
AIU submits that the AIU does not accord equivalence to such
foreign degrees which have been obtained for studies ... foreign universities meets all other
parameters specified by the AIU;
LIMITATIONS OF AIU EQUIVALENCE
29. AIU does not entertain applications for equivalence of
such professional

recognized, by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), as
equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class XII)
qualification in India ... obtained any

22. So far as the AIU is concerned, the counter affidavit filed

further, that such equivalence had necessarily to be recognized
by the AIU
records of the Equivalence Committee wherein so far the
case of the petitioner is concerned, the Equivalence
Committee found that AIU has not accorded equivalence ... Association of Indian

stated that the AIU has not accorded equivalence
received the aforementioned
response, since he had obtained a letter of equivalence from AIU, he

accredited, by the National Board of Accreditation, Delhi

f) That all other parameters as laid down by AIU for
according equivalence to foreign degrees have been
fulfilled.
In the light of above ... credit transfer, exemption
and summer/winter courses, the AIU may accord equivalence in
the following situations:
