14.It is to be noted that the deceased died as bachelor. Hence, 50% has to be deducted towards his personal and living expenses. The learned counsel appearing for the claimants argued that the Division Bench of this court held that national income of an Engineering Student can be fixed at Rs.10,000/- pm. In support of his contention, he relied upon the decision reported in 2012(2)TN MAC 838 (DB) (Salini Vs. Meiyarasu). Considering the educational qualification this court finds that the deceased will definitely earn Rs.10,000/- per month. It is seen that at the time of accident, the deceased is aged about 19 years. Further, on perusal of the award passed by the tribunal, no future prospects was added.
