In a similar case as reported in 2001(3) CTC 233, K.Ponnusamy Gounder Vs. State of Tamil Nadu, it is seen that this Court had observed that the successive notification issued under Section 4(1) of the Act, without withdrawing the earlier notification is not a valid one and would vitiate the land acquisition proceedings based on the successive notification.
