result of all this, the petitioner remained under continuous suspension from
15.3.1996 to 15.11.2006.
The prayer in this writ petition ... suspension could be justified which was
originally based on detention and deemed suspension. No further order was
passed on the suspension to justify continuation
remain under suspension till the age of his
superannuation and his suspension was never revoked.
That being so, he continued to be in service ... before the High Court wherein it was provided
that a suspension order shall continue to remain in force until is
modified or revoked

under suspension from the date of such dismissal or

be under suspension, he shall be entitled to the

licence to practice. Prior to 2001, Rule 49 of the BCI Rules ... person, government, firm, corporation or concern, so long as
he continues to practice, and shall, on taking up any such
employment, intimate the fact
Court had indicated that the parole was not the suspension
of sentence and the convict continues to serve the sentence despite
grant of parole ... Supreme
Court. The learned counsel submitted that the power of suspension
and the power of parole operate in different fields and have no
traces
retired from service on
November 30, 2001 while he was under suspension. He
has filed this Original Application impugning the
decision taken by the Textiles ... though he was in
continuance service from July 18, 1978, the date on
