consequential reliefs so as
to give effect to the terms and dispositions of the will.
According to the appellant the will propounded ... Lakshmamma, it would be necessary to refer to the broad
features, and dispositions, of the will and the evidence
adduced by the appellant to prove
testator, the condition of the
testator's mind, the dispositions made in the will being unnatural
improbable or unfair in the light of relevant ... handwriting of
testator. The dispositions in the will are in favour of the various sons
and grandsons of the testator and also of his wife
High Court :
Held, that the intention of the parties to a dispositive
document must be gathered from the words used by the parties
themselves ... must be
ascertained first and foremost from the words used in the
disposition clause, understanding the words used in their
strict, natural grammatical sense
with
his two wives who would enjoy the same. There were other
dispositions in the will with which we are however not
concerned now. Annapurnabai ... High Court, were as to-
(i) the effect of the dispositions made by
Ganpatrao under his will, and
(ii) the right of the plaintiff
cent of the income in proportion of 5:3. Then
follow numerous dispositions for the benefit of the family.

In Schedule Ka dispositions are made for the family and the
various clauses run as follows

Clause 5 is in the nature of a preamble to the dispositive
clauses of the will and is as follows. It says that ... imposed upon his execution the
obligations to carry out the dispositions specified in the

Clause 9 deals with the dispositions in favour of
respondents
themselves jointly as joint
tenants.
Held, that the document was a testamentary disposition by
the three testators of their properties operating on the
death ... used, and it has a well-
understood significance as meaning a disposition which is to
take effect on the death of a person. The executants
that clause, the legislature uses the words
'settlement', 'disposition' and 'transfer', and in the
expression 'settlement or disposition ... included 'any
disposition, trust, covenant, agreement or arrangement'. In
this clause, the word 'transfer' is clearly used in the
strict sense
