promotion under the ST category from 2006 onwards ... Whether the Schedule Tribe-Halba-Koshti officials are eligible for
promotion under the category-Yes or No. Please specify.

a Scheduled Tribe candidate on 20.06.1983. During the regular exercise of
verification of caste certificate ... decision that Shri
Sadawarti does not belong to the caste of Halba (Scheduled Tribe) and his Certificate
was invalidated by the Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee

notification for inclusion of the HalbaHalbi as Scheduled Tribes. The CPIO,
rather belatedly, provided some information while also observing
MOSPI belonging to the Halba Koshti / Koshti caste who got
appointment against vacancies reserved for the Scheduled Tribes.
