Section 107 in The Indian Penal Code, 1860
107. Abetment of a thing.—
A person abets the doing of a thing, who— (First) — Instigates
Section 107 and 306 of I.P.C. SectionS 306 and
107 of I.P.C . reads as under :
"306. Abetment of suicide ... thing."
From a reading of the Clause Firstly of Section 107 of I.P.C., it
is clear that a person who instigates another
section 498-A of the Indian
Panel Code (45 of 1860)."
18. Section 107 IPC clearly defines abetment to
mean that ... offence under Section 498-A IPC or
Section 306 IPC vis-`-vis Section 107 IPC was not
