imposed a cap of 30% upon manufacturers for select "anti

40mg and 20mg strength
respectively. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing
Authority ('NPPA' for short) had issued a notification

3. On 23.12.2002, NPPA issued a notice as
per Annexure-D2 calling upon the petitioner
fixed.
3. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority
(hereinafter referred to as 'NPPA' for brevity) has issued a
notification/order S.O.1019 ... ceiling price in respect of Glipizide Formulation. This
notification is under challenge. NPPA had also notified the
norms for conversion cost, packing charges and process
experts in the field. It can be safely concluded
that the NPPA is a body of experts. It is guided by para ... choice in this regard. The impugned
