difficult to
differentiate ligature strangulation from hanging
especially in case of partial hanging where the
ligature mark lies low in the neck, more or less
caused by various
factors, such as throttling, strangulation, total hanging or partial

hanging, or by drowning. Yet this witness has not specified the
cause
partial hanging could not be ruled out as far as
the ligature mark is concerned. In case of hanging or partial hanging,
possibility of fracture
torture by the applicant, the informant had attempted to
commit suicide by hanging himself to the roof of the house.
Learned APP submits that ... semi-conscious condition on
28.07.2019 itself and the history of "partial hanging with Hypoxia
(MLC)" has been recorded. It has been specifically stated
dowry death rather it is a case of death by partial hanging and septicemia. It is further submitted that the applicant and his family admitted
other opinion is given in which the word
"partial hanging" is used by the officers. On this
point, both the sides to argue
affected compromise with one and intend to
pursue the proceedings against another. Partial compromise is
against the public policy and therefore, same cannot be accepted ... with one and qua another, sword has been kept
