its effect was demonstrated. The tainted GC notes were given ... appellant. He was
further instructed to give a signal to the raiding party by hurling his
hand over his head when bribe amount had actually
selling chura post (poppy husk) in his house and if a raid is
conducted upon the house of the accused, the accused can be caught ... contraband. One Nacchatter Singh is stated to have been
associated with the raiding party which raided the house of the accused.

Inspector, Doman Razak raided the house of the appellant,
Arjun Marik situated in Village Bara within the jurisdiction ... police station, Mohanpur, District Deoghar. During the
raid it

is said that Arjun Marik made his escape good from his house
but then
information directed Insp. Sunil Kumar to initiate
necessary action. A raiding team comprising of Insp. Sunil Kumar, SI
Sharat Chandra, SI Naresh Solanki, ASI Brahm ... around 11.30 a.m. Some public persons were requested to join the raiding
party there but none agreed to join citing one or the other
basis of some secret information the premises at 308A, Ghazipur were
raided on the night of 25-26.12.2000 and the appellant-accused Mohd. Arif
@ Ashfaq ... Delhi.
7. He was immediately taken to that house by the raiding team which
was headed by Inspector Mahesh Chandra Sharma (PW-229) and truly
