2. Aforesaid fact of two simultaneous degree came into light when an inquiry was initiated on basis ... student for pursuing two academic programmes simultaneously. The U.G.C. has permitted the persons to undergo two academic programmes simultaneously subject to the conditions
Petitioners on the following grounds:-
(a) That pursuing of two degree courses
simultaneously was not permissible, as
stood clarified by the University Grants

candidates who have pursued two degrees
simultaneously shall be declared not to have

12. The charge was that the petitioner had pursued two
degrees simultaneously and successfully completed and
awarded degree certificates, and the other part
inapplicability retrospectively. Therefore,
candidature of the petitioner, who had
already obtained two simultaneous degrees
prior to the notification has justly been
rejected.
4. Learned counsel ... rightly rejected her candidature as she
could not have obtained two degrees
simultaneously and such dual degrees, were not
saved by the UGC Guidelines

4. Learned counsel ... rightly rejected her candidature as she could not have
obtained two degrees simultaneously and such dual
degrees, were not saved by the UGC Guidelines
high school and intermediate and there is no regulatory framework prohibiting two simultaneous degrees. The aforesaid clauses in the relevant Act also do not prohibit
degree in September, 2019 and thereafter, secured the Masters degree in
September, 2022. The guidelines for pursuing two (2) academic programs
simultaneously speaks about student ... degree course as well as the M.Com
degree course, there was no such bar for simultaneously pursuing two (2) degree
