Section 3 in Basavakalyan Development Board Rules, 2005
3. Allowances to the non-official members.
- The non-official members of the Board shall be eligible for allowances at the following rates, namely:(a)Traveling Allowance: For each meeting calculated on the basis of distance traveled in Kilometers at rupees 10 per kilometer. Irrespective of mode of journey of rupees 1500/-fixed Traveling Allowance per meeting whichever is less.(b)Daily Allowance: The non-official Members shall be provided with fully furnished Free Accommodation, at placed in which their attendance is required and where such accommodation is not provided the non-official members shall be paid Daily Allowance of Rs.500/- per day during the period of Meeting and one day before the commencement of Meeting and one day after the day of conclusion of Meeting.(c)Sitting Fee: The non official members are entitled for sitting fee for attending the Meeting at Rs. 1000/- per day.
