Section 12 in Manipur International University Act, 2018
12. Power to establish Constituent Colleges and to have Affiliated Colleges.
(1)The University may, have affiliated, constituent or recognized colleges, regional centers, training centers, learning centers, academic centers, research centers, campuses, adjunct campuses, off-campus centers, offshore campuses, autonomous colleges / institutes, study centers, skill development centers, innovation centers, creative centers, vocational training centers, learning centers, institutions, colleges, schools, literacy camps, research stations, extension centers, finishing schools at all levels and ins all subjects. This includes recognition/affiliation of institutions, colleges and schools etcetera located in or outside the State of Manipur including overseas, and admission to such Institutions, Colleges, and Schools etcetera under the University for the purpose of conducting formal and informal education/certification which shall also include but not limited to professional and vocational Programs of the University subject to the observance of the relevant, laws of the country and National and State institutions governing such activities.(2)The University shall have the right to affiliate any college or institution for any course and subject at all levels. The eligibility criteria for affiliation of such college/ institution, the fees structure etc shall be as decided by the Governing Board and as per the Ordinances and such rules and regulations of the University as published from time to time. In the case of affiliation/ recognition and association of a college or institution with the University; the University shall have the right to charge the, appropriate fees from that college/ institution and from the students enrolling through the same as per discretion of the University.
