Section 16(1) in The U.P. Food and Civil Supplies (Weights and Measures) Ministerial Service Rules, 1979
(1)For the purpose of recruitment to the post of Stenographer (Ordinary Grade) there shall be constituted a Selection Committee comprising-(i)Appointing Authority, or an Officer not below the rank of Gazetted Group 'B' Officer, nominated by him.(ii)An officer, not below the rank of District Supply Officer, to be nominated by the Appointing Authority.(iii)Regional Accounts Officer or Assistant Controller, Weights and Measures to be nominated by the Appointing Authority.
