(1)The Chief Justice shall fill up the post of Registrar, Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar by virtue of Article 229 (1) of the Constitution ordinarily from Grade-1, Grade-II, and Grade-Ill of the service respectively.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), vacancy, temporary or permanent, in the post of the Assistant Registrar may be filled up by promotion from amongst the Ministerial staff of the High Court by the Chief Justice.(3)Notwithstanding anything contained in these Rules, the conditions of Service of the Persons appointed to the post of Registrar, Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar, shall be regulated by the rules that may be made under Article 229(2) of the Constitution.
