44. Establishment and responsibilities of Teacher's Training and Curriculum Design and Development Centre.
(1)The University may establish the Teacher's Training and Curriculum Design and Development Centre in the manner prescribed by Statutes.(2)The Curriculum Design and Development Centre shall be planning, designing, coordination, development and evaluation authority, for Curriculum and Teacher's Training, of the University.(3)It shall be the duty of the Curriculum Design and Development Centre,-(a)to develop the curriculum of various subjects in the sphere of technological education, keeping in view the overall priorities, perspectives and needs of the society and expectations from industry;(b)to develop Learning Resources for the University;(c)to take steps to identify the demands of society and expectations from industry and design the curriculum and training of students and teachers accordingly;(d)to develop methodology for training of teachers and to create training materials for the same;(e)to coordinate with and empower Regional centres and Sub centres for conducting Teacher's Training and such other training as directed by the University.(4)The Curriculum Design and Development Center shall be headed by a Joint Director of the University.Chapter - VII Regional Centres And Sub-Centres
