Section 7 in Gujarat Gas (Regulation of Transmission, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2001
7. Term of office and conditions of service of members.
(1)The chairperson and the other members shall hold office for a period of three years from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever period is less.(2)The salary and allowances payable to and other conditions of service of a member shall be such as may be prescribed :Provided that the salary and allowances and other conditions of service of a member shall not be varied to his disadvantage dining the tenure of his office.
