Section 408(1) in Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976
(1)The Commissioner may,-(a)provide proper places with all necessary attendants and apparatus for the disinfection of conveyances, clothing, bedding or other articles, which have been exposed to infection from any dangerous disease; and(b)cause conveyances, clothing, bedding or other articles brought for disinfection to be disinfected free of charge, or subject to such charges, as may be approved by the standing committee.
