65. Declaration of results.
(1)As soon as the counting of votes is completed and the counting sheet is signed, the Presiding Officer shall send the same in sealed cover, along with all other sealed packets under sub-rule (3) of rule 62, the ballot boxes and other materials to the concerned. Returning Officer at such places as the Returning Officer may direct.(2)The Returning Officer shall, immediately on receipt of all the counting sheets in Form Z1 it respect of all the polling stations, compile the result in a result sheet in Form Z2, sign, it and declare the result. He shall hand up immediately thereafter one copy of such result sheet at his office or camp office and sent another copy of the same in a sealed cover to the Registrar and all unions contesting the election.(3)The Registrar shall, on receipt of the result sheet from the Returning Officer, proceed to issue a certificate directing in the said certificate the employer or employers concerned to grant recognition to the Trade Union as the sole bargaining agent or principal bargaining agent, as the case may be, in relation to the industrial establishment or class of industry in a local area, as the case may be, in Form M or Form MM as may be appropriate.
