Section 56 in Punjab State Veterinary Council Rules, 1997

56. Section 65(2)(o).

(1)The President and Registrar, Punjab Council shall look after, manage and supervise the property of the Punjab Council, its finance and accounts.
(2)The President, Punjab Council shall be empowered to dispose of assets or articles of any value of the Punjab Council through open auction.
(3)The powers to write off articles of the Punjab Council during a financial year would be as follows :-
Registrar upto Rs. 500/-
President of the Punjab Council Rs. 501 to 1,000/-
Punjab Council Rs. 1001 and above.
(4)The Punjab Council shall be empowered to regulate such powers of the President and the Registrar of the Punjab Council and it can withdraw any such power that it may deem fit.
