Section 8 in Jamadar, Class-III, Prohibition and Excise (Competitive Examination) Rules, 2013
8. Mode of Examination.
(1)The examination shall be held in three successive stages in the following manner, namely:-(i)Part I - Preliminary Examination (Screening Test- Objective type) (for selection of candidates for admission to the physical screening test);(ii)Part II - Physical Screening Test for ascertaining the physical standard of the candidate as specified in Part II of the Appendix;(iii)Part III - Main Examination (Objective Type - written examination) as specified in Part III of the Appendix.(2)The candidate who qualifies the preliminary examination shall be allowed to appear in the physical screening test.(3)The candidate who is physically fit shall be allowed to appear in the main examination.
