(3)(a)The main campus of the University shall be at Tehsil Bhagwanpur, Distt. Haridwar, Uttarakhand. It may also have Campuses or regional centres, study centres at other places with in the State, provided that the procedures are complied with. The University can open its additional campus within the State after 5(five) years of its coming into extence with prior approval of the State Government. The University can open other campuses any time in a hill region located at an altitutde greater than 1000 meter above sea level without any time limit.(b)However, to establish new faculties where additional land would be required as per norms of the concerned regulatory body as University Grant Commission, All India Technical Education Council, National Teacher Education Council etc. the University shall establish a split campus either in adjoining area, or near by within District Haridwar or at any other location within the State.
