9. Staff of the State Council.
(1)The State Council may appoint officers [other than Member-Secretary] [Words substituted for the words ',other than Secretary,' by W.B. Act 25 of 2007.] and other employees with the previous approval of the Government from time to time in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.(2)The classification and methods of recruitment, conditions of service, pay and allowance, disciplinary conduct and functions and responsibilities of the officers and other employees referred to in sub-section (1) shall be such as may be prescribed.
