Section 10(1) in West Bengal Electrical Licensing Rules, 2017
(1)The President shall have the following duties, namely:-(a)to preside over all the meetings of the Board;(b)to authorize Chief Electrical Inspector of the Directorate of Electricity, West Bengal to accomplish the procedures to grant/or renew licences, permits and authorizations of Chartered Electrical Safety Engineers;(c)to ensure functioning of the Board as per Act, Rules and Regulations and policies framed by the Authority.
