- A parent-teachers' association may be formed in High (including Sarvodaya High School) Higher Secondary and Multipurpose schools with the following objectives:-(i)to promote the welfare of children and youths in home, schools and community.(ii)to raise the standard of home as well as the school.(iii)to secure adequate care and protection of children and youths.(iv)to bring into closer relation the home and school so that parents and the teachers may co-operate intelligently in the education of the child.(v)to develop between education and general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.(D.
