Section 5 in The Shri Jagannath Temple Prasikhyana Regulations, 2003
5. Duties of the Mandalis.
(1)It shall be the duty of the Mandali -(a)to make a census of Sebayats of the temple once in ten years;(b)to arrange training programme for Palia sevaks and employees of the temple, sevaks and such other persons who are connected with hospitality and pilgrim management.(c)to prepare the syllabus, courses of studies, duration of the courses, subjects of the courses, Srimandira Parikrama, Security and safety of the temple, rituals and festivals of the deities, behaviour and discipline, duties and responsibilities and such other matters;(d)to select trainers for the Prasikhyana Programme;(e)to prepare all literature and books, audio and video cassets and C.Ds. related to Prasikhyana Programme;(f)to select subject specialist, experts and motivators for the Prasikhyana Camps along with the inaugurators and guests; and(g)to review the Prasikhyana Programme from time to time;(2)The training programme shall be organised atleast once in a year.
