Section 16 in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules
16. Arrangements of polling station.
(1)Outside each polling station there shall be displayed prominently;-(a)a notice specifying the polling area, the serial number of electors in the relevant Voters List who are entitled to vote at the polling station and when the polling area has more than one polling station, the particulars of the electors so entitled;(b)copy of the list of contesting candidates with the serial numbers and the symbols assigned to them; and(c)each of the polling station shall contain one or more separate compartments in which electors are to record their votes, screened from observation.(2)There will be two ballot boxes kept in the polling booths - One for the Member Managing Committee and the other for President of Water User Association.(3)The names of the contesting candidates along with their symbols shall be displayed inside the polling booth above the ballot box to enable the voter to exercise his franchise without difficulty;(4)Counting shall be arranged for the Member Managing Committee and President Water Users' Association on the same day in the afternoon following the poll.(5)The Election Officer shall provide at each polling station sufficient number Of ballot boxes, together with copies of the electoral roll or such part thereof, may as contain the names of the electors entitled to vote at the station, and such other papers, and articles necessary for electors to mark the ballot papers, stationery and forms as may be necessary.
