Section 12(1) in Securities And Exchange Board Of India (Ombudsman) Regulations, 2003
(1)The Ombudsman shall-(a)draw up an annual budget for his office in consultation with the Board and shall incur expenditure within and in accordance with the provisions of the approved budget;(b)submit an annual report to the Board within three months of the close of each financial year containing general review of activities of his office; and(c)furnish from time to time such information to the Board as may be required by the Board.
