Section 7 in Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Open Access) Regulations, 2005
7. Categorisation of Open Access Customers.
- Subject to the provisions of Regulations 5 and 6, the Open Access customers shall be classified into the following categories :-(1)Long-term Open Access Customers :An Open Access customer availing Open Access for a period of five years or more shall be the long-term Open Access customer.(2)Short-term Open Access Customers :An Open Access customer availing Open Access for a period of one years or less shall be the short term Open Access customer :Provided that the short-term customer shall be eligible to obtain fresh reservation after expiry of his term.
