Section 207A(1) in The West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973
(1)Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Act or in any other law for the time being in force, -(a)upon the issue of any direction to any Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zilla Parishad to exercise any power or perform any function or discharge any duty, or(b)upon the transfer to any Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zilla Parishad of any function, or control and management of any property,under any provisions of this Act, the State Government shall, subject to such conditions as it may deem fit to impose, place at the disposal of the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or Zilla Parishad, as the case may be, the services of such officers and employees as may be necessary to enable it to exercise such power or perform such function or discharge such duty, as the case may be.
