Section 58(1) in The Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Rules, 1965
(1)Every habitable room including a shop -(i)shall be of a height of at least 9 feet in every part from floor to ceiling;(ii)shall have a clear floor area of not less than 100 square feet and a width not less than 8 feet;(iii)shall be provided for purposes of light and ventilation with doors and windows or other apertures which shall have a total opening of not less than ¼ of the floor area of the room or 30 square feet whichever is greater.
