Section 1 in Bihar and Orissa Places of Pilgrimage Act, 1920
1. Short title and extent.
(1)This Act may be called the Bihar and Orissa Places of Pilgrimage Act, 1920.(2)This section extends to the whole of [States] [Substituted by A.L.O.] of Bihar [and Orissa], including the Santhal Parganas.(3)The [State] [Substituted by A.L.O.] Government may by notification extend all or any of the other provisions of this Act to any local area to or through which people go on pilgrimage.
