- In all departments of cotton spinning and weaving mills wherein artificial humidification is adopted, hygrometer shall be provided and maintained in such positions as are approved by the Inspector. The number of hygrometers shall be regulated according to the following scale:-(a)Weaving department. - One hygrometer for departments with less than 500 looms and one additional hygrometer for every 500 or Part of 500 looms in excess of 500.(b)Other departments. - One hygrometer for department of less than 8400 cubic metre capacity and one extra hygrometer for each 5600 cubic metre or Part thereof in excess of this.(c)One additional hygrometer shall be provided and maintained outside each cotton spinning and weaving factory wherein artificial humidification is adopted and in a position approved by the Inspector for taking hygrometer for each 5600 cubic metre or Part thereof hygrometer shade readings.
