Section 417(1) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(1)The Commissioner may-(a)provide for places with all necessary attendants and apparatus, for the disinfection of conveyances, clothing, bedding or other articles which have been exposed to infection from any infectious disease; and(b)cause conveyances, clothing, bedding, or other articles brought for disinfection to be disinfected free of charge or subject to such charges as may be approved by the standing committee.
