Section 16(5)(b) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992

(b)The Back Paper(s) shall he considered as one requirement for the provision of this regulation i.e., the number of requirements including the Back Papers of the proceeding lower class and the entire theory Papers and praeticals of the next higher class, shall not exceed more than that given in sub-regulation (1) above.
