Section 18(5) in The Orissa Statistics and Economics Service Rules, 1979
(5)The conditions of eligibility shall be the same as specified in Rule 9 except in so far as thereinafter mentioned, namely :(a)Clause (c) of Sub-rule (1) of Rule 9 shall not apply and the candidate must be under 28 years and over 21 years of age on the first day of August of the year in which applications are invited; and(b)Sub-clause (ii) of Clause (d) of Sub-rule (1) of the said rule shall not apply.
