30. Signature and Counter-signature
(1)A testimonial shall be signed by a responsible person under whom the candidate was employed and be countersigned by the owner, agent, manager or Secretary of the Mill, factory or Workshop or by such other person as the State Government may prescribe in this behalf.(2)A testimonial in respect of service on a steamship may be signed by the Chief Engineer and countersigned by the master of vessel or may be in the form of a seaman discharge issued by a Shipping Master.
