29. [ Substantive appointments to Senior posts. [Substituted by No. F. 2(17)DOP/A-II/81-II, dated 1-8-1981.]
(1)Subject to the directions of the Government, if any, substantive appointments to the posts of Inspectors Grade I, shall be made by the Registrar, on the basis of seniority-cum-merit in accordance with rule 27-A:-(i)by promotion of Inspectors Grade II;(ii)by promotion of Village Level Workers (Selection Grade):Provided that the number of posts of Inspectors Grade I to be filled by promotion of Village Level Workers (Selection Grade) at any time shall not exceed 10% of the posts of Co-operative Extension Officers.(2)The Registrar may likewise promote members of the Service from Gr.
