Section 7(1)(iv) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992

(iv)Marks for discipline already awarded to private candidates in the previous years/(5) semesters (5) of their being a regular student, can be received depending upon his/her behaviour in the ensuing examination as well during the relevant academic session of which he/she is an examinee;
