28. Section 41 and Section 65(2)(e).
(1)The President, members of the and members of the committees and sub-committees constituted under Section 40 (other than the members of the Punjab Council) be paid travelling allowance for attending meetings of the Punjab Council or committees or sub-committees as per entitlement in thier departments or organisations and they will draw travelling allowance from their respective departments, organisations or the Punjab Council as the case may be.(2)All other non-official members not covered under sub-rule (1) shall be paid a daily allowance at the rate of Rupees one hundred per day besides ordinary deluxe bus or ordinary first Class railway fare to and fro from the actual permanent residence, by the Punjab Council :Provided that in emergent situations, the State Government may allow the President of the Punjab Council to travel in higher classes than his entitlement and the President of the Punjab Council shall be empowered to allow members of the Punjab Council, committees sub-committees and Registrar in similar situations to travel in higher classes than their entitlement.
