Section 8(2) in The Rules for Grant of Scholarships for Prosecution of Higher Studies to Government Employees Belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, 1962
(2)The scholarship granted under these rules shall be discontinued by the Director:-(i)if the scholar is found to have associated himself with any unlawful activity; or(ii)if the scholar has been found to be guilty of Gross Misconduct; or(iii)if the scholar fails to make satisfactory progress in his studies: or(iv)if the scholar fails in any examination, unless the student is able to satisfy the Director that the failure was due to sickness or other similar reason beyond his control:(v)if the scholar is fund to have filled wrong particulars or furnished incomplete information in the application form;(vi)By order of the Government or the Head of the Department where is employed:(vii)Government in its discretion reserve full right to discontinue any scholarship at any time without assigning any reason.
