Section 35C(3) in Haryana Panchayati Raj Election Rules, 1994
(3)If the polling agent of a candidate dies before the commencement of the poll, the candidate or his election agent shall forthwith report in writing the fact of such death -(a)in case where the death takes place not less than five days before the commencement of the poll, to the Returning Officer (Panchayat); and(b)in any other case to the Returning Officer (Panchayat) or the Presiding Officer of the polling station where the polling agent was appointed for duty.
