Section 5 in Andhra Pradesh (Regulation of Admissions in Bachelor of Physical Education (B.PEd) and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.PEd) Courses through common entrance test Rules, 2007

5. Method of Admission.

- The general guidelines for the admission of candidate into Colleges of Physical Education offering B.PEd/U.G.D.PEd courses shall be as follows:
(i)The admissions into all the university colleges offering B.PEd/U.G.D.PEd course shall be made through Single Window System in the order of merit on the basis of ranking assigned in Common entrance Test as per the Rule 7 of the Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test for entry into B.PEd/U.G.D.PEd course Rules 2004 and amendments). Following rules of Reservation as prescribed in Rule 7 hereunder.
(ii)All the seats in unaided Minority and Non-Minority College of Physical Education offering B.PEd/U.G.D.PEd course shall be filled as follows:
(a)All the category A Seats shall be filled by the respective institutions by admitting the candidates as allotted by the Convener of PECET Admissions/ Convener of PECET-AC admissions, as the case may be, depending upon the option exercised by the institution as per Rule 15 of the Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test for entry into B. PEd / U.G.D.PEd course Rules 2004 and amendments).
(b)All the category B Seats shall be filled by the respective institutions on merit basis following the procedure laid down in Rule 6(iii) hereunder:
(c)The admission of the candidates made in various Unaided Non-Minority and Minority Professional Institutions shall be subject to scrutiny by the inspecting Authority appointed for the purpose.
(iii)The convener of PECET admissions/ Convener of PECET-AC admissions shall allot candidates to institutions in terms of rules laid down herein.
(iv)The admissions shall be made in the order of merit on the basis of the ranking assigned in PECET/PECET-AC as per Rule 2(1)(11) and (12) of the Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test for entry into B.PEd/U.G.D.PEd course Rules 2004 and amendments),
(v)The total number of the candidates to be admitted in all the Professional Institutions offering B.PEd/ U.G.D.PEd courses shall not exceed the limits prescribed by the NCTE from time to time.
