(a)Class I (Senior Grade) : It shall include the cadres/posts-

(i)Secretary, P.W.D.

(ii)Deputy Secretary, P.W.D. equivalent to the rank of Superintending Engineer, P.W.D.

(iii)Chief Engineer, P.W.D.

(iv)Additional Chief Engineer, P.W.D.

(v)Superintending Engineer, P.W.D.

(vi)Director, Road Research Laboratory.

(vii)Senior Architect in the rank of Superintending Engineer, P.W.D.
