Section 12 in Meghalaya Community Participation and Public Services Social Audit Act, 2017
12. Village /locality social audit committee.
- The Village/Locality Social Audit Committee shall assist the Social Audit Facilitators in the following activities, namely,-(a)ensure participation of the village/locality level programme implementing agencies/ committees in the Social Audit;(b)to ensure proper awareness on the conduct of the Social Audit;(c)to provide wide publicity on the conduct of the Public Hearing;(d)to submit status report on the action taken based on the findings and grievances raised during the Public Hearing;(e)any other responsibility as may be entrusted by the District Social Audit Coordinator.
