Section 23(6) in Bihar Agricultural University Act, 2010
(6)Comptroller:(a)shall be responsible for preparation of the budget, the statement of accounts, management of the funds and investments of the University.(b)shall be responsible for ensuring that expenditure is made as authorized.(c)shall arrange periodical internal inspection of the accounts maintained in various units of University.(d)shall be responsible for the maintenance of the accounts of the University in the form and manner as approved by the Board and keep constant watch on the state of cash and bank balance and on the state of investment.(e)shall see that the asset registers are maintained up-to date and that the regular stock checking is conducted.
