Section 15A in The Calcutta Suburban Police Act, 1866
15A. Constitution of divisions and sections.—
(1)Subject to the control of the State Government, the Commissioner of Police shall, by order,—(a)constitute such and so many police divisions as he thinks fit, and(b)sub-divide such divisions into such and so many sections as he thinks fit,(c)define the limits and extent of such division and sections.(2)Every such order shall be published in the Official Gazette and in the manner prescribed by this Act for the publication of public notices.
