Section 15A(1) in The Calcutta Suburban Police Act, 1866
(1)Subject to the control of the State Government, the Commissioner of Police shall, by order,—(a)constitute such and so many police divisions as he thinks fit, and(b)sub-divide such divisions into such and so many sections as he thinks fit,(c)define the limits and extent of such division and sections.
