Section 20(1) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(1)In the Scheme of examination for Diploma Courses under annual basis other than one Year Post-Diploma Courses and Secondary Technical Certificate Examination provision for carry over of marks to final year class shall be to the following extent:(a)In the case of a Three year course 30 per cent of the aggregate of First year and 70 per cent of the aggregate of Second year.(b)In case of Two years course 50 per cent of First year.(c)In case of Four years course and Four year Part Time course 30 per cent of the aggregate of First year, 30 per cent of the aggregate of Second year and 70 per cent of the aggregate of Third year.
