Section 3 in Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act, 2008
3. Constitution Of Commission.
- The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission shall be constituted as follows:-(A)Chairman- An officer of the Indian Administrative Service, appointed by the State Government not below the rank of Super-time Scale with at least three years of service remaining.(B)Member- Two officers of All India Services/State Services, appointed by the State Government not below the pay scale of Rs. 14300-18300 (or similar pay scale revised time to time) with at least three years of remaining.(C)Appointment of Chairman/Members- The State Government shall be the appointing authority for the Chairman/Members.
